Student Government

Student Government

The Stanford OHS Student Government plays an instrumental role in the school community since, in addition to hosting assemblies and social events, it contributes to discussions with the administration on policy, school projects, and issues relevant to the student body as a whole.

School-Wide Representation

Led by the Student Body President, Vice President, and Secretary, the Student Government comprises two representatives from each High School grade level and two from the Middle School as a whole. These officials are elected by classmates at the beginning of each academic year.

Social Projects & Events

Throughout the year, the Student Government creates the following opportunities for community engagement, entertainment, and fun:

  • Karaoke Night
  • Movie Night
  • Jeopardy
  • Homecoming
  • Gingerbread House
  • Pixel Parcels (holiday gift exchange)
  • eRoses for Valentine’s Day
  • Prom Committee

The purpose of the OHS Student Government is to act as the voice of the Student Body and to create and foster a sense of community among all Stanford Online High School students.
