About Me
I live in rural Costa Rica and am a competitive surfer, I spend most of my time surfing with my family when I'm not doing school. Through shadowing an orthopedic surgeon in Los Angeles for several years, working alongside my rural town's doctor in a one-room triage clinic, and writing a scientific review regarding hip arthroscopy, I have developed a deep passion for medicine and am excited to pursue that in college and beyond.
Why I Chose Stanford OHS
Stanford OHS is a perfect fit for me and has enabled me to live in Costa Rica while simultaneously being a part of an academically driven community. The school's unique course catalog, discussion-based classes, and professor-to-student dialogue and collaboration have shaped my high school experience and enabled me to pursue my passions.
What I Love About Stanford OHS
While I love many aspects of Stanford OHS, the relationships I have developed with the Stanford OHS instructors, staff, and students have had an enormous impact on my life. Through being a member and leader of the Bible Study circle, engaging with Stanford OHS as a whole through virtual and in-person events, and just popping into office hours, I have developed deep and lasting friendships within the Stanford OHS community.
