Kellye Smith

Kellye holds a bachelor's degree in music education and French horn performance from the University of South Carolina. After 11 years of being a band director and private music studio owner, she decided to shift her focus to student success. This led her to enroll at Clemson University in the Masters of Education, Student Affairs program. She spent one year working as an advisor in the Clemson Honors College before joining Stanford OHS as the middle school academic advisor. Kellye has a passion for middle school- as someone who loved it as a student, she has always had a drive to work that age student. When she’s not working with young people, she loves playing board games, reading historical fiction, and eating chips and salsa. Kellye lives on the lake in the upstate of South Carolina with her husband, three children, and their three cats.
