Joshua

Joshua lived in China when he joined Stanford OHS. His family later moved to India, then back to China, and frequently took other shorter trips for his father’s work. He credits Stanford OHS and his “wacky China schedule” with giving him excellent time management skills that have served him well in college. Joshua’s career at UC Davis has been impressive in many ways, including his ability to balance many time-intensive interests and activities. Joshua is double majoring in International Relations and Economics at UC Davis. His interest in economics led him to land a prestigious internship at Morgan Stanley at the end of his freshman year. He continued in that internship during his sophomore year summer, and when the program ended, Morgan Stanley offered him a position running the internship program in Sacramento. Joshua went in the UK to study international law and business ethics at a special program at Kings College at Cambridge. Joshua had joined the UC Davis rugby team at the end of his sophomore year. During his senior year, Joshua is also the president of the Economics Club. Joshua was admitted to law school at the University of Pennsylvania, where he also hopes to pursue an MBA.

Joshua is still in touch with a number of his Stanford OHS friends. He describes them as “old friends”—they don’t talk everyday, but when they do, “it feels like home.”
