Hanna Janiszewska has a B.A. in English from Yale, an M.Phil. in British Literature (1700-1830) from the University of Cambridge, and a Ph.D. in English from Stanford. Her research has focused primarily on the poetry and criticism of British Romanticism, but she also has a keen interest in philosophy and art. Before coming to OHS, she taught a variety of writing courses at Stanford and Santa Clara University. In her spare time, she listens to literature and philosophy podcasts, works on improving her drawing skills and takes long walks on the beach.
