Christine Van Winkle

Christine joined Stanford OHS in 2019. She worked as a consultant and software analyst in her home state of Maryland before moving to California in 2011, where she spent several years writing, working as an editor, and spending time with her two daughters. Christine’s books of poetry include Even Years (Kent State University Press, 2017, winner of the Stan and Tom Wick Poetry Prize) and The Wanderer (Beloit Poetry Journal, 2019).

Christine loves reading, gardening, woodworking, hiking, making trips to visit national parks, and—occasionally—finding time to write.
