Homeroom

Homerooms provide an opportunity for students to interact with members of the broader Stanford OHS community, including students who aren’t necessarily in their classes and a staff member who isn’t grading them.

Weekly Gatherings

Once a week, students come together in small groups of about 14 with their homeroom instructor. During the half hour meeting, they cover important school announcements, share study tips and strategies, discuss current events, and get to know each other through informal conversations. Homeroom also includes games and contests just for fun.

Building Relationships

Some homerooms pair older students with younger ones in a peer-mentoring program. All homerooms allow students to get to know students and staff from the Stanford OHS community outside the academic setting.
