Spanish - Foundations

This course is designed for students with no previous experience with Spanish or with very basic proficiency. Students are introduced to and develop mastery of basic Spanish language grammar and conversation skills, in a manner that builds confidence in language learning and learning in general. Also covered in this course are topics on language, culture, history of science, and mythology where Hispanic peoples and landscapes played an important role. While learning and practicing Spanish language skills, students are encouraged to share their knowledge and talents in other areas and fields of study.
