Originally from India, Dr. Lal earned her B.S. and M.S. in mathematics from Madras University, M.Phil. in mathematics from Anna University and Ph.D. in mathematics from Manonmanian Sundaranar University.

Prior to joining Stanford OHS, most of her experience has been in teaching math to budding engineers. Tina’s goal is to help students sense the beauty of mathematics.

Tina lives in Connecticut with her husband and children. In her spare time she loves spending time eating and cooking.
