Shweta Gupta

Shweta grew up in different parts of India and received a B.A. in mathematics from Delhi University and Masters in mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. After graduating she moved to the United States to pursue a doctoral degree in mathematics education following her passion of mathematics and teaching. She has taught a diverse range of mathematics, statistics and education courses to diverse group students in different states of the US. Through her teaching she strives to expose students to the beauty of mathematics.

She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two daughters and enjoys spending time with them. Apart from teaching mathematics she loves running and yoga. In her free time she likes to read, mostly nonfiction.
