Dana completed her Ph.D. in Mathematics at Stanford University in 2007, and is currently a Professor of Mathematics at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo, CA.  She loves working with talented high school students interested in mathematics and is excited to continue to be a part of Stanford OHS.  Previously, she was the Director of the Stanford Math Circle.

In her free time, Dana enjoys swimming and running.  She lives in Los Osos, California, with her husband and three boys.

Her research includes mathematical modeling of infectious disease, medical imaging, number theory, and operations research.
