Dr. Drogalis grew up near Scranton, Pennsylvania. She earned her B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Scranton in 2008 and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Philosophy from Loyola University Chicago in 2013.

Dr. Drogalis’s research interests include ethics, and particularly questions about moral improvement and education in the work of Immanuel Kant. Before joining the OHS, Dr. Drogalis taught courses in the history of philosophy, ethics, and social and political philosophy at Loyola University Chicago and Santa Clara University.

When not philosophizing, Dr. Drogalis enjoys reading, exploring new places, and ignoring as many modern conveniences as possible by learning to knit, sew, and bake bread.
