Dr. Smith is originally from San Antonio, Texas. He received his B.A. in History from Carleton College and his Ph.D. in History from Harvard University. He focuses on the history of North America and Europe from the seventeenth century to the present and maintains research interests in the history of philosophy and social thought. He is always eager to talk and learn about history of any kind.
In his spare time, Dr. Smith enjoys being outdoors and reading good books from any field.
