What was your favorite Stanford OHS course and why?
American History and Culture because it allowed us to think about history as it continued to impact society today as opposed to memorizing dates of past events. I also enjoyed the interdisciplinary aspect of the course: many of our discussions touched on philosophy and the social sciences to understand the motives behind monumental events and eras. Finally, I enjoyed that Dr. Smith encouraged us and gave us the freedom to carve out our own path from the material and focus on specific issues that mattered to us.
What is your favorite extracurricular activity?
Playing tennis and music.

2019 Graduation
